Why Can Only Socialism Save China?

②中国共产党领导各族人民夺取了新民主主义革命的伟大胜利，建立了中华人民共和国，彻底结束了旧中国半殖民地半封建社会的历史，为实现由新民主主义向社会主义的过渡创造了前提条件。

Leading people of all ethnic groups, the Communist Party of China achieved the great victory of the New Democratic Revolution, founded the People’s Republic of China, and thoroughly ended the history of semi-colonial, semi-feudal society—creating prerequisites for the transition from New Democracy to socialism.

③在过渡时期，中国共产党领导人民顺利实现了对生产资料私有制的社会主义改造，进入社会主义社会，建立起社会主义制度。

During the transition period, the Communist Party of China successfully led the people in accomplishing the socialist transformation of private ownership of the means of production, advancing into socialist society and establishing a socialist system.

④在社会主义建设初期的探索中，我国在各个方面都取得了巨大成就，社会发生了翻天覆地的变化。历史雄辩地证明：只有社会主义才能救中国。

In the early explorations of socialist construction, China achieved tremendous accomplishments in all fields, and society underwent earth-shaking transformation. History eloquently proves: Only socialism can save China.
